Our expertise

FASSKA's mission is to manufacture high-quality nutritional products providing the best quality nutrition that everyone deserves. Our expertise rests on three disciplines: research & innovation, production, and quality & food safety, all pursued with the same rigor, particularly crucial when providing nutrition to infants and individuals requiring formulas for special medical purposes.

Production

Controlled at
every step

From the collection of fresh milk to the finished tin, every FASSKA formula follows one fully controlled journey, with rigorous analyses and controls between every single step.

Analyses & controls
between every step

From farm to milk

01

Cooperative farms

Milk is stored in refrigerated tanks and analyzed on-site, preventing enzymatic and microbiological development while it awaits collection.

02

Milk collection

Milk is transferred to the refrigerated truck tank and kept cold (3-4°C) throughout transport, preserving its quality from farm to cooperative.

03

Reception at the production site

Every farm's and every truck's milk is sampled and analysed before unloading, confirming composition and safety ahead of processing.
04

Skimming

Milk is separated by centrifugation into skimmed milk and cream.

05

Pasteurisation

A high-temperature treatment destroys pathogenic microorganisms while preserving the milk's nutritional profile.

Formulation & drying

06

Formulation

Other ingredients are selected, checked and weighed before being added to the skimmed milk.

07

Wet-phase mixing

All ingredients are blended together in liquid phase, ensuring a homogeneous and safe mix.

08

Homogenisation, pasteurisation & cooling

The mix is pasteurised to guarantee its microbiological safety, then cooled before the next stage.

09

Concentration

Water is evaporated under vacuum at a controlled temperature, preserving the formula's nutritional quality.

10

Spray drying

On multi-stage dryers, the concentrated formula is sprayed into fine droplets and dried by hot air into a homogeneous, easily soluble powder.

Packaging & release

11

Packaging

Powder is filled into tins, bags or big bags under protective inert gas and sealed.

12

Product storage

Packed products are labelled, palletised and stored under controlled conditions until their release for shipment.

13

Quality control & batch release

Each batch undergoes extensive bacteriological, physico-chemical and organoleptic testing before it can be released.

14

Shipping

Each batch is dispatched only once cleared by quality teams.

15

Consumption

The formula reaches the families and patients it was designed for, the end of a fully traceable journey.
